projecting sand at high speed and strength no the surface of the stone. The main purpose is to create a
finish with asperities softer than the bush-hammered. It has also a anti-slip quality and it can allow
special design by using metal mask. However, this finish is complicate to produce on large scale
project due to high consumption of sand. The result will also depends on the hardness of the stone, the
softer the deeper is the texture.
